PROMOTING EVIDENCE-BASED ACTION TO END MALNUTRITION
The complex nutrition challenges in Indonesia demand real-time, region-based data on nutritional adequacy for all age groups. This information is essential for identifying critical nutritional hotspots and ensuring that interventions are precisely targeted. That’s why we are developing a web application called Protein Meter. This innovative tool will track macro and micronutrient adequacy using the 24-hour Food Recall method, serving as the backbone for evidence-based nutrition intervention policies and measuring the impact of those interventions.
With the insights gathered from Protein Meter assessments, we can uncover the root causes of nutritional issues in each region. This data-driven approach will empower us to drive effective policymaking, secure sustainable financing, and foster collaborative partnerships, all aimed at improving nutrition outcomes across Indonesia.
